Funding
JFS Buffalo programs are funded through a variety of federal, state and local agencies; the Jewish Federation of Greater Buffalo, United Way of Buffalo & Erie County, NYS Assembly Member Sam Hoyt and the WNY Delegation, private foundations, private insurance, Medicare/Medicaid, client fees and the generosity of friends and supporters. The agency is accredited and/or credentialed by the NYS Office of Mental Health, NYS Office of Alcohol and Substance Abuse Services and the International Association of Counseling Services
Confidentiality
Every JFS staff member maintains the highest level of professionalism and confidentiality in the delivery of our counseling and referral services.
Insurance
Jewish Family Service of Buffalo & Erie County accepts most forms of health insurance and offers affordable and sliding scale fees for individuals without insurance. Our programs are available to all residents in the JFS service area, regardless of age, sex, race, religious affiliation or ability to pay.
