Jewish Family Service (JFS) is funded by the United Way, the Jewish Federation, the Erie County Department of Mental Health, the New York State Office of Mental Health, New York State Office of Alcohol and Substance Abuse Servies (OASAS), Erie County Department of Social Services, New York State Vocational Services for Individuals (VESID), Hebrew Immigrant Aid Society (HIAS), program fees and private contributions. The agency receives third-party reimbursement from insurance companies and health maintenance organizations (HMO), and is an affiliate of the Niagara Behavioral Health Care Network.

All programs administered by Jewish Family Service are available to all Erie County residents regardless of age, sex, race, religious affiliation or income.
