A Place to Make New Friends for a New Lifetime.
The JFS Heads-Up Program provides a variety of social enrichment and inclusion activities for adults with significant cognitive, behavioral or social deficits as the result of a traumatic brain injury [TBI] or neurological disorder (e.g., stroke, tumor, etc.), including:
- Swimming, Games and Physical Education
- Field Trips
- Home Study Updates
- Community and Cultural Events
- Arts and Crafts
- Community and Cultural Events
- Social Skill Building and Other Workshops
JFS Heads-Up is offered Tuesdays and Thursdays from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. at the Jewish Community Center at Delaware and Summer Street. Lunch is provided. Some individuals may be eligible to have program fees and transportation covered by Medicaid through its Long Term Health Care Program or Community-Based Waiver Program. Private pay also is accepted.
